Jacket sculpture so far (probably finished) for project ‘Materialism’. Made with duck tape, plastic bags, metallic paint and black acryilc paint. Mirror pieces and beads for embellishments. The main idea behind this sculpture was to use undesirable materials not typically associated with fashion garments, and use them to create a desirable, appealing garment to […]
Resin coated scarf, (Gel coat resin), with silver spray paint over the top. Inspired by Joel Morrison. Clear resin- pieces of fabric suspended in it, with translucent pigment. Gel Coat Resin. Scarf draped over wooden armature. Painted with black acrylic and silver spray paint.
Sketches on Acetate. One outfit per day. Black fineliner pen.

Artists Lernert and Sander’s sculptural installation ‘Last Season’ features a collection of re-raveled balls of wool originally from designer sweaters such as Prada and Celine, that didn’t sell that season. Although the end result could still be considered beautiful aesthetically, the process and context implies a downgrade […]

Feeling creative with my eyes today; dotted eyeliner.
Dr Martens shoes, in black wave leather. I like these better than the boots, they look slightly more formal/ everyday and can be styled to look quite cute too. The black wave leather gives a subtly unique aesthetic to this classic design.

The second shows Kevin Lear’s ‘Ted Couples’ photographed over 20 years later in 1974. Both photographs being fashion statements of the time, show diversity in composition, class and composure of […]
